About the brand
Sunhouse Craft is a sustainable small batch artisan manufacturing business with a focus on traditional craft. Using traditional techniques, we hand make brooms, wooden wares, and other home goods in our storefront studio located in Berea, Kentucky. With an emphasis on sourcing our materials directly from our region, and funding farmers to help us raise crops, we are helping regenerate a thriving, local economy and working towards a craft with a strong sense of place. We strive to have our company’s values echo in every aspect of our work by:

  • paying fair wages in the shop

  • working in a lovingly restored storefront

  • employing traditional hand intensive methods in the craft

  • using recycled packaging and print paper

  • sourcing as locally as possible in all matters

  • working to develop a local supply chain

  • generally working towards a happy, thriving, and proud work environment
